The TheraSuit Method™ is an intensive strengthening program for children with neurological disorders. This method utilizes the TheraSuit™ and Universal Exercise Unit to combat the effects of deconditioning and immobilization. The TheraSuit™ is a soft dynamic proprioceptive orthoses, which aligns the body as close to normal as possible. It is the realigning of postural muscles that helps to facilitate normal patterns of movement, muscle tone, sensory, and vestibular function. The Universal Exercise Unit is utilized to isolate and strengthen particular muscles or muscle groups to help gain muscle strength, flexibility, range of motion, as well as functional skills.
